Enjoy a glass of wine and learn more about the art on view during a free tour of the Sun Valley Center for the Arts exhibition Crossing Cultures: Ethnicity in Contemporary America on Thursday, February 7 at 5:30 pm. No reservations are necessary—just drop in.
Crossing Cultures explores the changing role of race, ethnicity and cultural heritage in the 21st century. The exhibition features work by four contemporary artists—Joe Feddersen, Bob Dix, Julie Chang and Ana Serrano—whose backgrounds reflect different combinations of Native American, Asian, European and Mexican heritage. Much of the work was created just for this exhibition.
The exhibition continues through February 23; for more information, visit www.sunvalleycenter.org. To arrange a group tour at another time or in Spanish, call 726.9491 ex 10.
